More of the same old song from our famous Governor. The song goes a little like this:
Do nothing.
Take credit for everything, even those things she tried to stop.
Leave the state for a little unconditional love.
A new stanza in this little ditty is the dressing down of chief of staff for the Speaker of the House over posting her schedule. The schedule was already posted in the Anchorage Daily News, part of the public record.
As a Republican, I am embarrassed. As an Alaskan, I am embarrassed. As a blogger (albeit one of questionable talent) I am getting lazy. Sarah Palin makes bitching about things way too easy. Fish in a barrel easy.
In the immortal words of Caddyshack’s Carl Spackler, “So, I got that going for me.”

It is easy to pan Palin, but how did she get elected? Who backs her besides the extraction corporations?
She did not campaign as a pro-life candidate, I believe her comment was that it was a” private matter” or some such evasion.
She has been extremely threatening and vindictive in Juneau. The innauguration was only for starters. Thanks to the tenacity of the legislature we finally got a senator. Thanks to you.
What I am really concerned about is her lack of understanding in the field of alternative energy. Science, oh no! (It was not Juneau who suggested chopping wood, but the opinion of a legislator up north who wrote an op ed.) Alaska of all places, should have an energy code and accept federal alternative energy funds to jump start a program. I’m sure modifications for anomalies could be negotiated.
